The short version. This website doesn't ask for your details, set tracking cookies or run analytics. Bookings, memberships and payments happen on our booking pages, run for us by Cheeky Payments Limited, with payments taken by Stripe. If you're a member, have booked, or are visiting as a guest, our members’ privacy notice covers what we hold about you. We never sell your information, and you can ask us for a copy, a correction or deletion whenever you like.
Who we are
The Bunkr Club is operated by The Bunkr Club Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17313373, whose registered office is Unit 16 Faldo Road, Barton-le-Clay, Bedford, MK45 4RP. We are the data controller for the information described here, and we are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. For anything to do with your data, email info@bunkrclub.co.uk.
This website
There are no forms on this site and nothing to log in to. It sets no advertising or analytics cookies and stores nothing on your device to follow you between visits. The only thing it keeps in your browser is a note, for the length of your visit, that you have already seen the opening animation.
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Fonts and the map are served from this site, not from third parties. On the booking page, the live start times are loaded from Cheeky Payments.
Bookings, memberships and payments
When you book a bay, the gym or a class, join as a member, or open your member page, you leave this website for our booking pages at cheekypayments.com. Those pages, and the till we use at the club, are provided by Cheeky Payments Limited, who handle bookings, memberships, credits, guest lists and door and bay codes on our behalf. Payments, including card and Direct Debit details, are taken by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
What we hold about you once you book, buy a pass, join or come in as a guest, and why, including health declarations, access records and CCTV, is set out in full in our members’ privacy notice.
The founding list
If you registered your interest before we opened, your details and a record of your consent are held in our own database (Supabase, London) and our emails are sent through Brevo (EU). So that your founding price is applied when you join, we add the email address you registered with to our booking system. Founding registrations are kept until we open and for 24 months afterwards, unless you become a member or ask us to delete them sooner.
Marketing
We only send marketing emails or texts to people who have said yes, and every one carries a one-click way to stop. Joining or booking doesn't sign you up to anything.
Who else touches it
Cheeky Payments Limited, Stripe, Cloudflare, Supabase and Brevo, each acting on our instructions under contract and none allowed to use your data for their own purposes. Where data reaches a supplier outside the UK, it is protected by the UK's approved international transfer safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, restrict or stop how we use it, or hand it over in a portable format, and you can stop marketing at any time, no reason needed. Email info@bunkrclub.co.uk and we'll deal with it within one month, free of charge.
Complaints
If you think we've handled your information badly, please tell us first; we'd rather fix it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes
If we change how we use your information in a way that matters, we'll update this page first.
